ACM Our Country: Blake Shelton and Gwen Steffani

The famous power couple, Blake Shelton and Gwen Steffani, sang their new song “Nobody But You” on their farm in Oklahoma. I loved this song the first time I heard it, but hearing an acoustic version of it really allowed the lyrics to hit harder. Blake closed with “wes sluve you”, which was an accidental slip up at an attempt of saying “we love you”. He and Gwen both laughed, as did I!

On Monday night, February the 11th, Keith Urban hosted his seventh annual “All For The Hall” benefit concert for the Country Music Hall of Fame. With an incredible lineup of artists including Keith Urban, Lauren Daigle, Blake Shelton, Tanya Tucker, Chris Stapleton and more of countries brightest stars right now, the theme this year was “Under the Influence”. While each artist was given the platform to sing one of their originals, they also got to pick and perform a song from an artist that helped shape who they are today. I think this was a brilliant idea and gave respect to those who walked the road before and helped mold the industry into what it is today.
